Now, drop the front end down about an inch or so (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)

Drove out to Riverside yesterday, picked up a nice rear bumper and a two wide slotted 'chromies' for the bug.

Mark,
I wish I could, my driveway is a bit steep and I would be hitting the spoiler.

I removed the bracket that the radiator gizmo mounts to, so that when the gasket for the Idle Air Control Valve gets here, I can take it apart and clean it, to see if that solves the intermittent idle problem.

I miss my car...
You see. Every day I have been working on a boat. The boat is in the way. It's sitting at the front door of the shop and I can't get the car out to play with it. I don't think I will have the boat ready for the water for another week. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

I guess it is only natural that the boat is upon JACKSTANDS.

Replaced the front wheel bearings, fresh oil change with Brad Penn oil, detailed it and got it ready for the Red Rock Classic. Oh yeah, I drove it ALL day yesterday!

Got all of the interior installed. New door fiberglass panels and back pad thanks to 914 Rubber. All new 914 Rubber supplied vinyl on doors and back pad along with new carpet that went in smoothly and without any major problems.

Of course now you see all of the other things that now look like crap thanks to the new parts (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

Well maybe I can get my carbs set and enjoy it at some point.

Removed the old headlights from the wrecked 6. I knew they were flat glass, but due to the damage, I couldn't see a brand/logo.

Got them out, found out they are vintage flat glass SEV Marchall headlights! Installed them in the yellow car, and damn, now I can see at night! The pep boys Sylvania cheap lights always sucked..

I got to drive the 'BB' around the block a couple times on Tuesday - enough to blow some cob webs off and throw a little charge into the battery (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

The new look for wheels going on the '67 Bug (5.5" x 15" deep slots) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I got my new axle shafts In the mail from CFR.

I got a bunch of parts from CFR Including a Mallory Unilite Dizzy.

New Dell 36's should be at my door when I get off vacation.

Bought a complete set of Mahle polished rims.

Now I need time to install all of this stuff.
