I found myself with only two gears while driving home.

Turns out the delrin bushings disintegrated.

I don't have any of those laying around...but I did remember that I have a few bushing sets from my skateboard that I didn't use. Just had to shave a little off the ourside to get it to work...but then it fit like a glove!

(Until I can get some real ones.)

I ditched my holley. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evilgrin.gif) Enter the Quickfuel Technologies Annular. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evilgrin.gif)
Weighs about 15lbs less, and has crazy throttle response. First annular ive had,and its the shit. Also ditched the shitty Chinese made holley regulator with a real one.

Mech secondaries now too. The car barely ever got into the vac secondaries with the holley, even with the lightest secondary spring. Now I know when im blazing all 4 bbls. The quickfuel came with a bunch of secondary linkages to choose from, so I can choose how early or late I want them to open. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) I love new stuff. I can relate to how John Lennon felt when they finally finished the last cut for Helter Skelter on the White album!

Installed a custom set of /4 straight pipe headers that have a 911/914-6 single hole exhaust flange. Then using a modified 911 banana muffler with the single outlet welded up and two center outlets welded on. Sounds AMAZING!! supper happy with it, top end performance feels much better.
