Drove it to work. And after work I had to prove to my coworkers that you in-fact can do doughnuts in a 914. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif)

I think we need some video of that!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

My dogs and I drove my '73 over 60 miles today, and it was awesome. This was a first in distance. Runs great and looks even better. Can't even count the thumbs up!Attached Image

No. I just won't use the flash next time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif) Makes everything look rusty or in this case rustier.

Nothing..But I did order a bunch of parts...

Found out that the main jet sealing washers were dribbling fuel out while the car is running.. (Yay fire hazard) and that my valve covers are the culprit of the oil leaks at the motor.. Pulled them off and they were more warped that I could have ever imagined... So, a quick drive to Duarte on Thursday should solve that.

Installed a Wink mirror! the stock one would shake while driving, making seeing anything clearly somewhat difficult; and i also dont have a passenger side mirror so this should help out with seeing that side of the car better. I think it looks sexy!

took it out for a drive and confirmed I fixed the oil temp gauge. I had found two wires were reversed on the gauge. First of many things to be done. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif)

I know this is worthless without pics, but I had to go to Chicago all week and this happened late Sunday afternoon.

on 05.07.2012, after a month of disassembly the chassis left to have mounts fabricated so it could be put on a rotisserie. Last Sunday, 11.17.2013 the painted chassis finally touched the ground again.
