Took a good 2 1/2 hour drive. Gorgeous blue skies & maybe 40 degree's out. Had to block off most my radiator opening to get it to stay warm. Otherwise was good times (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Drove it to the LA car show.

I guess that car would give me a boner too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Piddled around the shop for several hours this afternoon/evening. Gathered up and staged some parts I don't need anymore, weighed some wheels for shipping quotes and cleaned up a set of 1.7 HEs (hey, they're for sale in the classifieds ... Click here) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

Also, cleaned the scum out my solvent tank and cleaned up the shift console cover Shoe sent me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

My eBay (used from Stefan) LeMans arrived, which meant I had to clean & paint the bracket, deal with some rusted tilt adjusters and a stripped slider bolt.

But now I can sit in the car and make vroom noises without my ass hurting, which is a huge improvement over the König...

Drove the 2.0 to ThePaintedMan's Place and then to the Paint Shop to get an Estimate

Came home, ripped out the Insulation Pad in the Engine Bay to get ready to weld the Engine Lid Hinge Support. Took the BackPad out to do some Customizing. Put Bolts in to replace the Wood Screws that held the Oil Catch Tank & CompuTune. Put on a Front Euro Plate

The Spyder - Finally got the Front Suspension on (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif), Drank Beer (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif)

The White Race Car - Rolled it out of the Garage & then back in when I was done working. Drank Beer (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif)

Finally my clutch tube was welded and thank you so much to Sir Ed Arango who went to my place bringing his own mig welder with gas tank. He did a very good job fixing my tube.

Then in the afternoon he towed the 72 tub from my house to his house in Huntington Beach.

Replaced my rubber brake lines with stainless, began scraping wheel wells of the factory undercoating. Also tried replacing my rotors with new ones I had machined for five lug….. No dice though.

I must have had 1 Beer too many as I forgot to put the Underbody SwayBar on (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chair.gif) , so, today I had to thake the Passenger side front suspension back off, put the SwayBar on, put the PS suspension back on.

For the 1st time in a couple of months, the Spyder is off of Jack Stands (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

I always told myself that I wouldn't just throw fuchs on becasue everyone else does, but I've got to say, I like the look of the black center 16's on the car.. and they were cheap with good tires.. Hard to beat that.

I think so too David, but the rear tires are bald on the minilites... These are"rain" tires...only because there's actually some tread on the rear tires... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I'm going to have the minilites beadblasted then clear powdercoated.. Looking for a more raw aluminum look.

Why didn't you just have George roll around on the car ... then you'd have a paint job like Janis Joplin's 356 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
