Sorry, but you should have fixed the FI - It might run with the Single Weber/Holley, but it will Never run Right!

Drove the /6 over to Santa Cruz for Pleasure Pizza and then walked the tide pools at the hook. I am sure loving the third seat belt.

L-jet is actually a simple yet efficient injection system...sorry to hear yours wasn't.

After sitting since 2003, After working on it by rebuilding the engine, the harnesses, all the D-Jet components since July 18 2012. I installed the key, turned the key, she started, ran flawless, went for a short test drive, ran out of gas, called wife got more gas, drove car home.

Today I will adjust the clutch, re-activate the insurance for all the aspects of driving and drive this hummer! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Then I can give it back to my wife and she can (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving-girl.gif)

Somehow I'm loving the once despised by ME D-Jet, Big Thank You to Brad Mayeur for helping me to understand the D-Jet injection!

Yay!!

www.carburetion.com

They had a couple of options for 44IDF that I liked better than the cheap chrome filter pieces provided with packages.

Finally changed my race steering wheel to an original sent to me from Garold via Socorro NM, San Francisco and now home to NZ. Must bethe highest mileage wheel in existence.

But Icouldn't believe how much nicer the car is to drive in normal conditions with the original wheel. The smaller wheel is probably cool for AC but normal driving ??? It's like having power steering.
It just keeps getting better.

New calipers going in.

but i ran in to a snag, the E-brake connector is rusted solid, pulled the retaining clip off the bottom but the pin that hold the cable in is rusted in there!. and i cant get the soft line and hard line apart. but no matter, i have new soft lines and just ordered the hard line from PMB last night!, so Eric, my cores will be on their way back to you before the end of the week- if you can rush those line out i can get the new once hooked up for a Christmas day drive, maybe!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)
So glad i didnt take this to the Dragon this year!! but i will be ready for next year!!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)
