Installed my Dr Evil sorted transmission (1st blocked), X,O, and a flipped H.)
Installed new transmission sport mounts
Installed new engine mounts
Installed new high volume oil pump
Installed new7 qt pan
Modified shift linkage (boot plate was hitting the new oil pan)

Confused? My lil bastard is a v-8 (350, 4 bolt main) converted 914 :-)
Got a lot done today. We were in the 60's! Woohoo

Watched the 'BB' get washed again. Had another pretty good rain storm pass through this morning. Will dry out the engine bay (again) tomorrow morning.

What did I do today? My son and I put the engine-transaxle back in the '73 we're restoring to park next to my original owner '71.

Put the newly redone wheels (thanks to Weidman Wheels) on and put it on the ground for the first time in nearly two years...

Adjusted valves in order to start my newly purchased semi rebuilt engine that has given me all kind of troubles lately.

http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=226852

But I wasn't brave enough to turn the key afterward.

Hope it to be run tomorrow.

Problems or just didn't work out. I have looked at 2 Audi V8 boxster conversions this weekend.
