re-packed CV joints, fitted up oil cooler, installed both deck lids, ordered new throttle cable for cable throttle linkage.

Now to just tighten bolts on the exhaust, install shift linkage, install battery and turn the key....

The exhaust is the tangerine exhaust...I hope to fire it up shortly..

Catalogued and sorted all the small hardware. Nuts, bolots, washers, screws, speed nuts, special hardware.

Figured out what goes to the players, what I have new, and what I need to order

Edit: Platers, not Players

Exhaust is the Tangerine by Chris Foley....no sound yet, I hope to fire it up this weekend...got to finish the stuff below first...it might run, but not long...

Personally, I wouldn't want to have a 90 Degree Fitting (or 2) between my Stat and the Filter Console

I agree, it is reworked..I just had the fittings stuck in to keep them from getting lost....I will most likely rework it a few times until i get what I want...Fittings are only $20 each....

Drove the 'BB' to my chiropractor appt. on Monday.

Drove it to the shop yesterday. Crated up the 2L motor I sold to Denis. Will be on it's way back to Maryland soon.

Now, on to check compression on a 2.7L.

I'd love to, especially since it's only 1hr away, but I'm stuck @ home putting new tires on the Kubota, doing spring yard/house work & taking care of the neighbors dogs while they're away for Easter.

Installed the front plate on the 'BB' and had the CHP sign off on the ticket.

CHP doesn't charge to verify the correction, local PD wants $25.

If correction is signed off, the original fine ($38.) is reduced down to $10. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Painting my fuchs. This is the first ones. I think its working out well. Using a pouring technique, similar to the dipping technique that was originally done.

so an update on this project. it worked , and really look great, but it takes a while to cure, and i should have thinned the enamel paint for it to flow easier, and to drain out and not be so thick. I made the mistake of "testing it " in several locations, one spot was a bit soft, not fully cured yet. this was the spare so i have 4 to go. SO on the next one i will thin it a bit, and i bought a hardener, that will accelerate the curing process and helps to actually speed the process and make it much harder, but does not hurt the bonding.

Prepped my GT Oil cooler shroud. Made the mounts for the Setrab cooler to the shroud.

I also patched up a previous hole on the opposite side of the shroud when I originally intended to run the oil lines on the passenger side.

Now that I'm going on the driver's side (GT-style), I had to patch the 2 holes I drolled on the opposite side!

Pics to come later.
