Been trying to run down the subtle unpleasantries of the cold start. I thought I'd check the CHT resistance....

Checked one I had kicking around

While it didn't cure everything, I didn't have to feather the throttle on initial start, it will now idle cold at about 500 rpm.

Took an evening drive with one of my daughters, (14 y.o), she had some errands to run, the perfect opportunity to take the car out for a drive, got some frozen yogurt,
She wanted to k ow how to "turn on the air", my fresh air blower only works on low, so I pointed to the window crank .
It was the I realized that all of our other cars have electric windows! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) and she has only ridden in this car a few times, and probably never used a window crank before .

Installed newly reconditioned/replated hood and engine bay latches from Bruce Stone and trunk lock seal from Mark Whitesail. Great guys who support our cars!

Stopped by the storage building, opened the door, looked at it, closed the door and left again.

Didn't make the AX school today. I didn't finish work until 4am, so I slept to noon and then cleaned the lift bay in my garage. It is indirectly related to my 914, as that's where it parks.

Changed the oil on the 76 Saturday.

Spent most of the day Sunday inspecting this, 1970 1 owner 914-6 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) I'm selling on behalf of the original owner.
