Finally got around to installing the brake light strobe module (LSC-100A) for my high-mounted center brake light. Works. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) Then drove it.

If interested, here's a link to the module:

The specs say it is only rated for 15W. Sounds low for two brake light bulbs.

If it was done like mine, it was used only for the center mounted LED light not the bulbs in the tail lights.

Installed new sail trim, balanced carbs and (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) first shake down run around the block.
What adhesive did you use. I am getting ready to redo mine with the 914 Rubber German material. The adhesive I used before did not hold that well.
I got a qt. from my local upholstery shop, unfortunately, there's not a label on the can. If you don't have any luck let me know and I'll ask him for the brand name.

I prepped the 914 this weekend for driving it on a more regular basis since the wife wrecked the jag we have not replaced yet, and last friday i sold my Boxster, i will be driving the 914 2 -3 days a week until the other car is replaced, kind of looking forward to that- one last thing left to do, re-bleed the brakes and get that pedal more firm-no leaks just have not been able to get all the air out of the lines since replacing all the lines hoses and calipers this past spring

I struggled with that for a long time. Might have just be luck but a couple of times of bleeding both the top and bottom bleeder screws on the rear got the last of the air out of mine.

Had a nephew in for a family visit and he wanted a ride, was warming it up to go and the Seattle rain began to fall. So with no 'Rain Shields' I pulled it back in the garage. That nephew of mine just saved my car's life! I found a sheen of gas on that new rain.

Rain leak detected a gas leak. While it rained, I searched for the leak and found that only when running fuel to the carbs did gas pressure cause a leak at the distribution line to the carbs. DOH! Fire averted...

I believe I fixed the leak, so much moisture and gas odor so strong I couldn't be sure. So... While it rained, I installed the K&N Rain Shields so I can drive if ever caught by a sudden Seattle rain.

I ended up missing entry in the lone car show I enter every year. Oh well...at least I didn't catch my car on fire and lose it forever.

Yes, center-mounted light only; it's a LED unit from Volvo V-70 or something.

A friend of mine is a graphics designer and made me some cool magnets. I have about 10 of the Porsche logo magnets that I will be selling.

Expect a Cease and Desist letter from Porsche to show up soon. They don't like it when you use their Trademark without permission.

Disassembled my center console and reassembled it with next size larger screws.
Its finally fully intact.
Then I put disconnects in the wiring so it can be serviced without tearing it up.
