A friend of mine is a graphics designer and made me some cool magnets. I have about 10 of the Porsche logo magnets that I will be selling.

Expect a Cease and Desist letter from Porsche to show up soon. They don't like it when you use their Trademark without permission.
I'd better order some before the lock, then (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

I think an official cease and desist letter from Porsche would be a badge of honor worthy of framing. PM me if you want a set, a few people already have. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

This is a fantastic upgrade, very easy to install. Made a huge difference in shifting, even before the tranny rebuild. Hardest part was getting that damn boot back on (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

I spent a full day cutting my 4" exhaust system apart and realigning all the pieces to fit back to my relocated engine. What a PITA! The good news is a was able to raise the muffler to the bottom of the bumper for a cleaner look.

Over the weekend I slapped this wheel from rhodyguy onto the car. Not as much legroom as the D shaped Sparco, but it looks cool and has a nice grip. Not bad for a French product (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bootyshake.gif) Thanks Kevin!
Attached Image

Changed the wheel column bearing while I was in there. It was a snap with the assembly removed.
Attached Image

Much nicer without the wheel slopping around (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

Mark, I got it from PP.I think I got one of the last ones at the time but looks they've replenished their stock. It's a very simple job, bless ChuckC for his post but it's so much easier once you remove the assembly. It all pulls off, then removing the four screws takes the delicate electrics out of the way and then it's just a circlip and a little sweet talkin' and it comes right out. I placed three pieces of shim stock (aluminum foil) into the bearing recess just to ensure complete tightness.

Nothing to fear or be intimidated about, the more I work on these cars, the mo' I loves em (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) If you want any more detailed procedure shoot me a pm (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif)

I took my 914 for its first test drive after doing a complete resto. Attached Image
I got in a hurry and forgot to tighten the lug bolts. My wheel flew off without warning going about 15 mph. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif)
Back into body and paint!
I am a daco.

Dude, my heart goes out to you on this one, the same thing happened to me a few years back but the wheel never came off; I had spit 3 of the four lugs - at about the same speed (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Pulled over, picked up the lugs, jacked up the car, put em back on, and all was good.

Sorry to see you extended the experience... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif)

Put another 23 miles on the LE, up to 47739 original miles now. Washed it afterwards, snapped some photos & tried to download them & found out my old Canon s500 digital elph is not compatible w/ my new pc w/ Windows 8.1 64 bit OS. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chair.gif) Going to call up Canon tomorrow & see what they can do for me because tech support is not open on Sundays.
