Removed my stock muffler in preparation for bolting up the new Triad unit. While I had the exhaust out, did some cleaning underneath and also in the engine compartment. Much more to do…a little at a time.Attached ImageAttached Image

I cruised down to my friend's shop and there were four Bali Blue 356s he is working on. Two of them are three serial numbers apart!

I went there to retrieve one 65mm Fuchs center cap.

We may have had a few beers too, I don't remember.

^^^ That was tougher than a "Where's Waldo," but I finally figured it out.

The electric meter on the upper left isn't spinning, so must be for a vacant unit!

What's the prize?

That sounds like a fun drive. What's your drivetrain setup? Is your car a 4 or a 6?

Drove the 'BB' around town to do a few errands (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

When I got home, I pulled the driver's side door panel off because I finally got tired of the window crank rubbing (one of the metal tabs didn't make it into the appropriate slot the last time I put it on).

Moved to the engine compartment cause something smelled 'funny' (IMG:style_emoticons/default/post-2-1117899824.gif)
Tightened up one of the oil breather hoses that managed to come loose on the way home from Palm Springs (leaving a nice oil slick that I'll deal with tomorrow).

due to the big boat(lincoln navigator) being in the shop for body repair(daughter was side-swiped by a Mack truck!! on local 6 lane) and the wife needs my TT, i am driving the 914 this week and so far so good- except for a blown fuse yesterday. Blew #9 while i was parking the car, seems my fresh air fan when on any setting but the middle one with short out and blow the fuse. i need to find someone that can help me figure that one out. i a m afraid that a P.O. messed with this at some point
- on another note i decided to go a different rout with the wheels and listed the 14's on classifieds. if no takers here i will post on bird board next.

Mine only works on mid-speed, but it doesn't blow the fuse in the other two positions (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
