I have been thinking of mixing up the look of my car as I am getting bored of the same after 9+ years of owning it. I have no plans of painting it any time soon but think I am going to try a Brumos tribute look for the car. My thought is that the stripes are completely reversible and will not keep me from changing it again in a couple of years. Today I bought $5.00 worth of vinyl tape and ghetto tested the look. I think I am going to order 12" wide with a 1 1/8"gap in between the two stripes.

Does the spacing and stripes look correct for sizing?

I was driving to work when the car started making a loud noise. I spent half of the day tightening my heat exchangers.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Could they have made it any less convenient to access?

Really nice job, your very talented. The red tread looks good and more retro. Mike

With the advice and coaching from several members I finished the mock-up of the front hood fuel door. It's a Mustang 6 1/4" door mounted to a plate that is attached under the hood so the fuel door appears flush. The plate the fuel door attaches to is bonded to the hood by 6 small rare-earth magnets. Real strong.

Color matched the fuel door cover; waiting for rubber trim, and exploring a better underhood support.

Thanks to iamchappy, Larmo63, Forrest Haag, and 914Geezer, you guys rock.
