Brought home 100 lbs of Rottweiler love (actually a few weeks ago). And still wonder why my images are self rotated when I post...

Attached Image

Then last Sunday blew up the engine on my way to Cincinnati (dropped Ex valve), so yesterday removed engine. Now I have 2 complete engines in non-running mode. A problem for me...

Attached Image

Suddenly I have a real reason to finish my 2056 build which has stalled out due to other life priorities...

I'm still waiting for my /6 head work to get finished, next week short block possibly.

Meanwhile, I installed an early 911 type throttle lever and the linkage/shaft in the front tunnel and adjusted it. The carpet will be replaced.

Today I cut out a small area of rust in the rear of the passenger floor and welded in fresh steel. Had a little help from my son who did a pretty good job of panel beating the front panel end ready for me to fit the new fender later this week.

Didn't really do anything for the cars this week, but built shelves so I can catalog and organize the engines, trannies, interiors and so on.

Finally found a use for all of Wifeys clear Tupperware totes. All the various sizes are great for storing the items, it also makes it easy to see whats in them without unloading half the bin just to figure out what you were hunting for wasn't there.

Nope, never had to do it before, but I've read several posts on how difficult it can be.

Any tips on easy removal and installation would be greatly appreciated (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Forgot to mention on Saturday that I found some rust worm issues in the trunk of my DD. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Started here, pulling the seam sealer.
Attached Image

But found this when I got to the corner.
Attached Image
It couldn't been seen. It was totally covered with seam sealer.

After surgery.
Attached Image
Two plunge cuts with the Dremel. Then long cuts with the air hacksaw.
Worked the corner with the Dremel reinforced disk.

Super In Law making the two piece patch piece.
