Put the turbo tie-rod kit on the '73... as the Pelican DIY suggested, the toughest part was getting those damned rubber bellows on each end, especially on the MC side where conveniently the MC is right in the way...

And my toe isn't even that far off!

Someone offered me $10,000.00 cash for mine today. Came up to the door of the house even. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif)

Wonder if there is a scam going around. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) I mean seriously, who would pay that kind of money for a non-running 914.

Nothing too major ... I took delivery of some interior door panels yesterday - much nicer condition than the ones that are currently in the 'BB' (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Also received some other 914 parts recently that I've only been able to store on the shelves.

I finally finished sanding, cleaning and painting the 4th MBZ CLK forged alloy wheel on Monday. (I painted the other 3 wheels a year ago) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Mounted and balanced a set of Yokahama Geolander (215/65-16) tires on them last night. (These are for 'Eileen', the Westy). I need to test fit them to see if I'll need wheel spacers (up front), then I can order longer lug bolts. I might need longer studs for the rears too (alloys are a little thicker than the stock steelies).

Hoping to get some free time soon, so I can finish up with the hydraulic clutch release system in the 'BB', and prepping Dianne's car for the body/paint shop

Stripped, cleaned, and painted the rain hats. Also got Tangerine oil catch can installed.

Now I am thinking the orange is a bit much. Kind of looks like a pumpkin in there!

CV's (I hate that job), clutch cable, speedometer cable, cv flange nuts, buttoning up underneath.

Thank you Sir Andy and others for the detailed CV rebuild information found through the search. Your kind notes make it much easer for us that follow....... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif)

Punch list is getting shorter.

Lose the orange rain hats. Either paint them black, green or red. Adding orange to the engine bay is to much IMHO. Other than that, very nice.
