Well I've seen uglier 914 trikes posted on this forum, but I've never seen a 914 trike that wasn't an abomination. Even if the front of the 914 is gone, why waste the back end by doing this to it? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

The diamond plate and red seats just give it the "redneck" look....
Give that job to a pro... like anyone from the discovery channel biker build offs.. and I think it could look cool. |

Why would anyone add a luggage rack to a 914? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif)
It destroys the classic lines of the car. |

Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. Not exactly my taste (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon8.gif) but nice workmanship.

I thought you guys were talking about the white lettered rear tires... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
As bad as it looks, it's really the ultimate conversion for the rust belt. 1. Find rusty 914 (easy) 2. Drive it until it breaks in half (easy) 3. Weld chopper onto front |

Wow, that's cool!
NOT!! Either get a 914 or a motorcycle, but don't try and do a vulcan meld between the two. |

Had an ex-brother in law that was (and I belive still is) big-time into trikes. He built lots of them, though no 914 based one's. If you guys could see the fabrication methods that go into these things, well it's pretty scarey. Also, a lot of crap stuff is hidden from sight, ample use of bondo, and lots of grinding, and you can make anything look pretty. I hope you guys see beyond the stuff people like OCC, etc build......clunky steel plate stuff that's chrome plated, or a good dose of dazzling paint, and every biker babes want a ride. I don't get it, but thar's just me, and there's probably a thousand to one that see it differently. Oh well.....
