I have a '73 914 with a 2.4L 4 cylinder. it has about 155-160hp & 170lbs of torque. I took it to a track event & it ran great. The only problem I had was the oil pressure would get dangerously low when cornering sharply; especially to the left. This is not a race car, but I do a few drivers ed events each year. I have asked some friends advice on how to fix the problem. The suggestions I have gotten are putting in a deep oil sump, putting an accu-sump on or doing both. Are these the best options? any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Thx, Tom

You'll find several threads here....start with the "tuna can" type of sump addition and overfill by 1/2 quart. If that's not enough, Scat and/or CB sells a deep sump. Caution on torque on the sump bolt--- it's like only 5 ft. lbs.
