Ran across a 944 that the PO tried to jump start. Wouldn't run so he took it to the mechanics at a local Porsche shop. They think something happened when he jumped it. It ran before he did the jumping. What would/could jumping it do aside from hooking up the terminals backwards?

Any ideas?

It's for sale for $700 OBO.

Possible damage to the stereo, the alternator, several of the more exotic relays, and especially the ECU, which is VERY likely toast. Oh, and the battery...................... The Cap'n
