Never liked the ugly duct tape we used to cover the ends of the heater ducts that carry the battery cable and fuel lines.

Found that a rubber plumbing coupler from the hardware store, size 1.5" => 1" fits like a glove. Maybe not the most elegant solution but definitely better than the duct tape. And it keeps the cables\hoses from chafing on the edge of the tube.

Hm. Seems to me that it would be better to run a front-mounted battery cable inside the cabin (down the tunnel, or alongside the tunnel). That way, it can be tapped off under the dash directly for unswitched power. The fuel lines are already in the center tunnel, so I don't understand why they should be moved. Use the heater ducts for your water lines instead, for that SBC... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
