I have a 2001 suburban half ton 2wd 4 wheel disc brakes it has a right rear brake that drags or something. It only lasts a quarter as long as the rest of the brakes. It has worn out to the indicators again and the rest of the brakes are not half used up yet. any one have ideas as to what may cause this? Im off to get another set of pads for the rear. This is what I use as a tow car and will use going to the WCC but putting a rear brake in it every 4 months is a pain in the rear. The chevy dealer wanted mega bucks to look at it but I figured Id check here first for ideas. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Interesting. Sounds to me like the caliper needs to be rebuilt or the ebrake mechanism is hanging up. Yank it off and "execersize" the piston.
