If you registered as a new user (and never got a confirmation email and hence, can't reply to this) or changed your email address (and also didn't get a confirmation email)... well, we let a few "hung up" registrations slip through the cracks.
I found about 50 regs "stuck" in the queue, randomly since 16 July. I've sent emails out to everyone in the queue. If you're reading this wondering why we're ignorning you... it's a mistake, and I sincerely apologize. Shoot me a reply back... and I'll validate your account immediately. (Yes, I know you can't reply to this message, but check the email account you used when you registered.) Usually, I send out three emails, spaced over 5-7 days for accounts that get stuck in the queue - before I just delete them as spam-bots/porn-bots, etc. I'm going to be much more flexible on this. thank you for your patience. -Rusty (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smoke.gif) This post has been edited by Lawrence: Aug 31 2004, 12:23 PM |

Ummmm... Rusty... don't you have more important things to do... like checking your sleeping quarters for camel spiders?
But seriously, thanks for actively administrating the board, even though you are in a galaxy far-far away. Stay safe! |

Well, I'm lucky to get a few days of downtime. We're waiting on the next couple of convoys of equipment, then we're back to work.
Soon I get to come home!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/boldblue.gif) -Rusty (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smoke.gif) |
