What are you up to now, Mike (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) I need to stop by and see your progress ... Hi Mark, I got the GT flares on, 21mm spacers up front and found I need more than the 6" & 7" fuchs that I had under the rolled fenders. The 7s will go up front if I can find some good 8s. Yes, we both have to stop in on each other sometime. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) |

Is the front suspension for sale, hubs, brakes, struts etc. Thanks, mark No Mark, It's installed. I do have one F/S from an early 911 but it's not what you would want for a 914. |

Mike, isn't an early 911 front suspension what the original 914/6 came with?
I realize that later front ends with 3.5" caliper bolt spacing are more desirable so one can install vented rotors, but wouldn't an early front suspension still be usable for a 5-lug conversion? |

Mark, The A arm and strut interface is different on the early 911 and 912s I don't think the 914-6 used this setup. Best I can tell, it fits a 64 - 67 911 or 912. It will all fit a 914 but the arms and struts would have to stay together. The A arms I have are rusted through so I made a jig to repair the arms. Later, I found a local, much newer front end with turbo tie rods and poly bronze bushings. You can see the front end here: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911...-front-end.html |
