1) picked up my stripped and repainted hood at Peformance Restorations in Mundiline Illinois
2) Pulled rear wheels, checked rear pad clearance (i installed them last weekend) and bleed / purged brake fluid. 3) pulled front tires, bleed brakes / purged fluid, re-set bearings on Drivers side (also new last weekend) 4) re-installed hood (matches very very well) Went on ~ 20 min drive at 0-90mph to test out new tires (Azines), brakes and rotors (914ltd), hood, etc. I LOVE MY CAR MAN! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) Now, I may drive up to Ellcart Lake and watch porsche club racing tomorrow. Next AutoX is Sept 19th in Maywood. What are your plans? |

Oh yes, just to plug all the suppliers - I got the power bleeder from Pelican parts and as you all told me on this site:
That is the only way to bleed brakes! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) |

I fixed the headlights in a 95 993 Vert. I wired up the guy's GPS to ignition switched power.. I installed rear wheel spacers. I fixed a Mitchell estimating issue on a Body shop's computer.. I sat in traffic on the way home. I stopped by Albertsons to grab some peanut butter and shampoo.
The real work starts tomorrow. B |

Wife and I went to Santa Cruz, drank beer and ate calamari at the Crows nest, watched the sail boats cruise in and out of the harbor. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

i worked on the puter all day, creating a program that automatically generates monthly invoices based on the customers activities using a ms-word template with our logo and stuff.
started around 10am and got it running right about 1/2 an hour ago ... which means i can now run monthly billing with 1 single mouseclick! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/boldblue.gif) Andy |

I worked on a Solaris custom Jumpstart server all day until 6. Had dinner with my wife, watched a little tube, and then dicked around on the 914club server for a couple of hours. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
We had a scheduled outage at work to power cycle 30 FC san switches and all of the servers attached to them for Sunday at 01:00 a.m. I hadn't made any plans for the weekend as a result. It got cancelled! Now I have a 3 day weekend and don't have work more then 30 minutes. |

I got up, loaded the truck and drove to my US address and mailed a bunch of stuff. Almost 6 hrs later I got home and started to gather tools to take up to the farm for Sunday.
Construction day up there if I can get to the house (another rain storm dumped here). Two new windows going in and starting to build a shed, 16' X 20' which will be a guest cottage someday. Tomorrow, replacing the throttle cable on the boys 914 (if it's not raining again) and taking it for a drive while he's at work. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Buying lumber for the farm. Then I'm making Marguritas..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |
