You were heading south on Fremont Ave. Then turned left on 36th, drove past the 'Troll'.

Rear/Luggage rack. Faded blue (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) early bumpers, 72?? Who are you? On this BBS?

Playin' with Keone; in the sun; "TEENER!!" I yelped. Made my day mo betta (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I think I saw the blue one go zooming by on Market street going west across 8th NW friday morning. I don't remember colors very well or I could be sure.

Mike Cooley (#2) is up in WA state somewhere. He has a 73 (I think, could be 74) 2.0 with Autronic fuel injection on it.

Since I first became a 914 owner 4 years ago and have been on the look-out for other teeners, the number of times I have spotted one driving down the road (not counting our SMOG events) equals the number of trunks my car has. Needless to say, 914 sightings in this part of the country is rare, indeed.

i saw a nice red one in berkeley today. i've asked brad numerous times for little 914world.com stickers/flyers. the sort you can just stick behind the wiper, you know.
oh well, if you want something done, do it yourself ...

so i might just print some out on the ink-jet so next time i see one, i'm prepared!

Where in Berkeley? I've located at least 5 in the area:

1. Mine (phoenix-red-ish '72 with silver empi's) couple blocks south of the campus.

2. 2 blocks down from me there's a goldish (delphi green metallic?) one with Riviera's that's beat to shit.. I think it's a 1.8. Guy claims to do service on them, but judging by the current condition of his vehicle, I don't want him touching mine.

3. There's a white one that's usually parked around San Pablo and.. Gilman? Don't remember what wheels. It's in okay shape, IIRC.

4. There's a red one in decent shape that's parked near Albany Bowl all the time, has a set of 4-spoke VW wheels (can't for the life of me remember the name of them.)

5. There's a light green one that I spot on northside of Berkeley every now and then. Parks near Vine and Shattuck?

It's bizarre that we have so many of them in this area. I see the above five regularly.. doesn't count the numerous ones that I've seen once or twice on the road (especially on the way to EASY in Emeryville.)

"phoenix-red-ish", was parked on a side-street about 2 blocks up from "everett & jones" @ san pablo / university ...

is that yours?

Nope, mine sits at Dana and Blake, although the location of the white one is near the location you just described.

My car is not currently in Berkeley.. it's on a tow dolly being lugged behind our Bronco on 5 south as we speak. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Speaking of Seattle area sightings...I saw a white one with the white PORSCHE lettering on the rockers last Thursday, May 1. It was about 5:15pm near the Weyerhaeuser campus in Federal Way.

Anyone?

Eric, since the sun is been out in Seattle, they come crawling out of the woodwork! There are still lots of them around Seattle in various condition. Now to get them signed up to this club.

I actually see quite a bit in the Federal Way area, where I work. Last summer, I was returning to the office from a job site and I saw two of them 5 minutes apart and within a mile of each other. That was pretty cool.

My little buddy saw one at the Sterling Auto Flee Market today. It was for sale, asking $5000. Canadian (about $3500. US) but he didn't get the number or know how to check it out. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
