Maybe he thinks the gas tank is the coolant reservoir? I mean, if he's really young, he may not understand "air cooled engine"??? Or maybe he is a Nigerian Prince, now de-throned and forced to dismantle old cars?

My guess is he's talking about the windshield washer bottle as it does resemble a modern day coolant reservoir ...

The guy did state that he was new to the board and doesn't know much about 914s.

He's taken a pretty good beating over the coolant tank thing and we did have some fun with it ... but I think it's time to cut him some slack (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)
