I will do the front brakes soon and have a question. After reading articles here I see there is an o-ring that goes between the halves. I received a "square cut" style o-ring in my kits; is this the o-ring that is referred to? TIA, kent

The square cut ring is more like the original than the new round o ring, either will work just fine.
