There were two 914's in yesterday's club race over here that were running bone stock bodywork. One ran with 205's on Fuchs 6's, the other guy had 225's on Revolution wheels. He had done the baseball bat thing on his rear fenders, but it was unnecessary based on the clearance he had.
Anyone out there have any experience with the Revolution wheels? The guy at the race was quite happy with his, just wondering if there are any more users out there? BTW, there were a number of widebody 914's out there as well, and they represented us very well: http://www.cvrpca.org/n_cvrraceresults.htm |

Is this the wheel you mean?
(IMG:http://www.highway914.net/tech/914wheels/revol-rfx.jpg) If so, it's the Revolution RFX. Auto Atlanta sells them as "AFX". I don't know about sizes or offsets. -Rusty |

You can get them in practically any offset you'd like
They even have 'em as 3-piece and you can select your the outer rims to the size you want. And for 3-piece wheels, they're pretty affordable cheers, Jeroen |

Alot of guys in our area run them as track wheels.. and the offset is close to a factory 7inch R fuchs.. I can't remember but something like 37m...
anyways. Yes you can often get them under stock body and often with 225/low profile tires... There pretty nice, but not the lightest wheel out there... Probably the best "off the shelf" 4bolt option brant |

Hey I've got two sets.
15 x 7 with a 5" backspace. I add a 1/4" spacer and run 225 Kumhos with the rear fenders pulled way out with the lip rolled under. As I have said before, not all 225mm tires are the same. Go to Tire Rack's web site and check the spec section on the tires, look up overall width and you'll see. Paul |
