Just like it says in the title. They don't have to be perfect but I don't want any rash.

Place a WTB on Pelican. Include a ballpark # for the price you want to pay. People who are too lazy to list in the classifieds will call you.

Posted a WTB on the bird board. There's a set on ebay I've got my eye on but it looks like he's hiding some rash. We'll see if he answers my question. Just called La Dismantlers. They want 1K each. I'm looking at spending up to $1,500 for a decent pair. I might have to go with the 951 P/N and save a chunk of cash.

Keep looking at the price you are looking to pay you will find a nice set. What are you planing to run on the front. 7"s? I run 16x7 with 225/50 16 and 16x8 with 245/45 16 and 911 10.6ET rear with no spacer. I just picked up a 2nd set of 8s on E-bay to run 245/45 on the front as well. We will see how well that works? mite be to much cross-section for the steering to handle. Good luck. Badm

Thanks for the tire sizing info. I was debating running 215's and 225's or 225's and 245's. Do the 50's up front have a higher sidewall than your 45 rears? For the challenged such as myself what's a "911 10.6ET rear?" |

ET is wheel offset 10.6mm+ I cant remember but I think the other 8" wheel offset is around 24mm+ offset can be +- depending on the wheel. Do a lookup of the Fuchs wheel chart. The 225/50 and the 245/45 have approximately the same hight. go to, www.themiatatirecalculator.net and it will tell you the exact hight if you punch in the tire size you want. I hope this helps. Badm.

If your looking to fill out the wheel well more. Just run a small spacer with some longer lugs. I've fit a 951 16x8 on the rear of my narrow bodied car with slight pulling. Up front with flares I think they would be perfect. To run them in the rear I would use a small spacer. May be cheaper to do that if your having better luck finding the 951 8's (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) |
