Getting frustrated searching for 16x8 911 offset Fuchs. I love the look but can't justify the 2K to have them in my hands in the next few days. I have a WTB thread here and on Pelican. Hopefully, someone has a decent set they want to part with for a reasonable price.

I see a bunch of 15's out there. Do they still even make tires to fit the 15x7 & 8's?

Until then, let's see what you have. I do like Superlites, unfortunately they don't make them in 16x8's.

Do you want me to click the mouse for you? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif)

Go to ebay motors, choose wheels and type in Porsche Fuchs. There's like 5 15x8's there right now.

16"X 8" and 16"X 9"s Performance Products copies but they are very light compared to the 15"X 8"s I replaced.

Looks nice Rick. I've been thinking about replicas but I already have 16x7 Fuchs for the front. Figured I was halfway there.

Those euromeisters sure look great. They are coming out with 17" Fuchs copies in a couple months.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) I sent them an email about two months ago asking if they made 16x8's for a 914. They called me back and said not in the one piece. They said I'd have to go with 3 piece wheels.

I love the RSR finish and the price is right for a set. I did some searching and it seems that they have some runout issues and vibration. Is this still the case?

I was under the impression there was strength issues with the Fuchs repros for anything but street use.

Automotion had pulled the wheels from their site for a while. Now they offer 8x17 and 9x17, 8x16 and 7x16. Notes now say-
"Manufactured using water & air cooled low pressure casting equipment resulting in the strongest and lightest cast aluminum wheels on the market. This design allows us to manufacture a wheel only slightly heavier than a more expensive forged wheel. Finished wheels are then completely X-Rayed to insure quality and strength."

Have seen other manufactures us a spin-casting method.
Cast will never be as strong as forged.
