Boxster Wheels

7x17 front with 215-40's and 2" spacers
8.5 rear with 255-40's and 30mm spacers if I recall.

The old torque thrust look (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Here's a set of Fikse 10/8" with 275/40/17 on the back one side worked ok and the pass side needed some work.

Got a set of 17's on a car at the house now. I really like them. They look just like the pictures. If you are on Automotions mailing list they have specials on all of the Holiday weekends. Sometimes it 20% off so you can get the wheels for about
$650 for the 8/9" set.

What widths and are you running spacers?

I love my RotaFox 17"s - Tires are Cheap

Hey Carr, how do you like the Conti's. The price and performance looks good but some reviews say the sidewalls are too soft and roll when cornering. I'm thinking with a 40 or 45 that shouldn't be an issue but would like some input from a guy who runs/ran them.

On the Fikse or the Euromisters?

The car in the picture with the Euromister has spacers on it to space the wheels out. It has 10" flares on the back.
I've tried the wheels on my steel flared car without any spacer at all. They have a 255/40/17 Dunlop tire and fit great.

Nice!

What tire/spacer combo did you find worked? The 17's seem to be tall and want to rub on the front.

Any pics looking at the whole side (more straight on)?

Btw I recently went back to 15's and really like them, with r compound tires they stick as well as the wider 17" wheel combos... although I'll probably heat cycle them out before the tread wears off. I kind of like the gear ratios of the taller tires more though... atleast for the street.

Jeff made these. My ride height is not set yet so I don't have any pictures yet.

Hard to get 15" rubber last I looked. 16" rubber is even scarce. Can you elaborate on "taller tires." You mean taller than 25"s. I have M,X,S gears so no big concern.

Yea most of the 15's are miata tires or competition tires.

My Nitto NT01's in that pic are 45 series, so they are only 23" tall, my 17's I think were about 25" tall. The short tires are good for a/x if I don't run out of rpm... They would be really short with MSX gears... For the street and freeway the 25" tall tires seem to be the way to go.

Chris-Looking good! I like the black on blue look (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

I liked them. They came off a Honda S2000 that I had & then put them on the Rotas. I never tracked them, but I had no complaints. I have since sold the Rotas & Contis

Ok now I need help. Was about to order wheels and then the offset threw me. The 7" rim has ET 23.3 and the 8" has ET 10.6. Will the ET 10.6 work up front?
