Hi
Does anyone knows whether Pressure Sensors numbers 0280.100.043 and 0280.100.037 are interchangeable ?
They are both for 2,0 liter engines but one seems to be for a 1974 and the other for a 1975. My engine is a GB Euro with 100hp and the car is a 1974
I installed the 037 one to replace a 043 and the mixture is definetly not correct either in "iddle" or for "coasting". Only "full throtle" seems to be OK.
Should I try to break the seal and try to adjust the mixture on the pressure sensor ?
Thanks for any help
Antonio

037 was used with the '73 2.0 L. It was tied with a specific brain, head temp sensor w/ a resistor in line.

043 was used with the '74 2.0L. Again, there was a specific brain and the head temp sensor did not have the resistor.

Your best source of information is PBanders site on the D-Jet Injection.

There's more but have fun with the two links

Uau
Thanks for the reply.
I´ll most certainly have a lot of fun.
I can see now why most people told me to forget the D Jetronic and buy a pair of Webbers instead.

I will disagree to the point that the stock engine will run great with the D-Jet and really lousy with carbs (comparitively). D-Jet may be a pain in the ass to sort out (and could be expensive), but you own a 914 - you should be used to the headache and pain by now. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

The info I have is that all Euro model 2.0L's used the 037 MPS but who knows for sure.
What ECU do you have as that alone with decide what you should run.
Also what CHT....
