here we are.
Put everything together, and engine refuses to start, I noticed that there is no power to fuel pump when cranking. I jumped the fuel pump and it still does not start, but if i squirt some starting fluid and crank, It starts, meaning that there is spark. I know about the seat belt relay, I connected together the 2 thick yellow wires. I don't know what else to do, other than post and wait for the experts. |

Hey Paul get a jumper wire to extend from some power source to the socket under the fuel pump relay that turns the pump on. at least you can hear it run. we'll talk soon R |

In my case it wasn't the fuel pump relay that was bad but corrosion in the relay socket.

I know it was not, because I had some spare relay boards with the same result.

I mounted the Muffler today and the engine sounds great, with a minor leak on one of the valve covers ( no big deal ) ordering valve cover gasket, will do valvle ajustment and set the timing as soon as I receive them.

Flip your engine shelf fuel lines (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)
Looks great! Can't believe the progress you've made since you bought the car from me, what was it, just a year ago? |
