let's do it this way.
My car was first sold in Hermosa Beach, California by the great racing dealer Vasek Polak. I lived about 30 seconds from this dealer when I lived in LA - until they became Pacific Porsche and changed locations. The odd part of that story is the car was later moved to the SF area then Seattle. That's where Boxstr bought the car and I later bought it from him and brought it to Indianapolis. It looks like it may go to LA with me, and I'd like to live in the Hermosa area. Small world, huh? |

Some people know exactly what the history of their car is! Small world - yes, my first wife was from Hermosa Beach! Good plan, "I Love LA" and "SD" and "SF".... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smoke.gif) |

i would love to know about my car's history. a coworker and her husband had that online auto record lookup service while they wer shopping for a new used car, and she offered to look up mine. the service didn't recognize my VIN! now what? i figure the former and late shah of iran owned mine, and it was used as an excape car across pakistan, india, tibet, and china, before being "shanghaied" out of shanghai and living a couple years in the solomon islands (as a taxi in honiara), before being purchased by a little old lady in (not pasadena!) dubuque, and then the trail gets fuzzy...
