Some dumb ass in a roll back wrecker with a car on the lifter on the back end hit and ran our suburban. My wife was sitting at a light when this guy in the wrecker squezed through on the right to turn and did not allow for his swing out to turn and hit her. he took out the door fender and broke the wheel and cut the tire. She made a good effort to catch it to get a name or number off the truck, but with a bad right front end she could not keep up. Cops would not come since no one was hurt and she was not blocking trafic. Just glad no one important was hurt. Metal is easy to fix. Unbelievable. Hit and run is a crime whether there is injury or not. Fleeing the scene of an accident not worthy of a police response? I'd be pissed. I've already made up my mind that if I ever see someone fleeing the scene and I am sure the victim is being attended to by others I'm going to chase that piece of trash until he's in a ditch or I can get a plate number, whichever comes first. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) (No lectures about public safety please. I don't want anyone getting hurt either and don't mean to sound reckless.)

Not in Dallas TX. I like the cops who drive up and down Hillcrest at about 60mph in the residential area. I used to live there and watch them fly past just to get to the station for shift change. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/finger.gif)
