I am just asking, I have one from a Mustang and thinking about it. Some were on the web I saw a large list of adapter plates for many 914 engine to trans swaps, cant find it. Can someone help?

Kennedy Engineering in Palmdale, Ca. has or can make plates and clutch/flywheel combos for any engine. They have a huge list of engines they mate to VW trannys. Do an online search.

I see they list the Ford 3.8 V6 but it is listed as FWD. Aren't Muffstank's rear wheel drive?

Yes, the Mustang is rear wheel drive. The Taurus also uses the 3.8 in front wheel drive .
