Oops!!!!

And BTW, the 2.7 is a long rod racing engine.

Back in '03, there was this yellow 914 that did a 360 in the middle of a mountain road in front of a 912.  It wasn't a V8, just a lonely 2.0 and the driver was................................ (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

This 'off road excursion' was carried out by a beautiful blue 914-6. Does the driver post here? I forgot his name.

Andrew

Depending upon who you are talking to, his name is either Meathead or Screwloose - Goes by the norman name of Shawn Anderson.

Oh yeah ! Hey Aron and Matt thanks for the diagram of my little near miss incident and thanks a million for helping me get the six out of the ditch just before that cop showed up! Thank GOD nobody got hurt and no sheet metal got bent to badly! I think the only damage sustained was to my pride in knowing that its a good thing that I am still a few years away from getting a 3.6 and 915 box put into my six. Oh well it gives me plenty of time to get used to my 2.2 liter!

Aron ,I guess I kind of lied about the damage thing... the undies are pretty much toast, had to write em off and throw them out. All the stain remover in the world would not have got them clean! You know, due to the unfortunate incident that occurred on Sunday, I don't know if I will be participating in future fun runs. I'm speaking of course about the complete absence of the promised free donuts.

Glad you came out OK. My wife freaks out on twisty roads (at least when I drive). I'm still working on her little by little, trying to get her comfortable enough to go with me. If she had been there yesterday, I don't think that I would ever convince her to go with me again.

Pictures can be found Here

I should have just posted them here, but figured a new thread with would be easier to get to the pictures rather than to wade through 3 or 4 pages of talk first.
