Ok. After the last autocross, I noticed a howling from the car when in second gear. Not good. So, I pulled the drain plug, and this is what the magnetic pickup has on it.

I would assume this is not normal and bad. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Thoughts?

Means nothing. How is the transmission shifting? If you have never used it, now would be a good time to pull the stack and inspect. All plugs look like that. It probably has not been cleaned since Regan was in office.

Shifts fine. No grinding. I am looking for your dvd now to see about pulling the stack. (I have misplaced it since the last time I looked at it...)
