ok, that was interesting ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

i just spend an hour at big-o-tires. i had 2 dude's call everybody they knew and their cousins. looking for a set of 285/40x16. any brand, any style.

NADA!

they finally gave up and recommended 225 in the front and 245 in the rear.

anyone know if yokohama's AS430 is any good?
they have 'em on sale ...

i'd still like to get wider tires tho,

I'd go just any place except for Big-O.....my experince is that they don't know cr@p and charge too much for what they try to pawn off on you.....maybe it's just the big-O stores here in the east bay

those tires should last forever...440 threadwear rating

Can you mix wheels stay with 16x7s with 225s on the front and put 17x 9 or 10s in the back? may look a little wierd but maybe not if there all Fuchs. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
