Holy Smog tests Bat Man! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) It must suck to live in CA when it comes to that. Although I own a 73' and motor cycle so I haven't smog tested in years, I mean years. I feel for you guys, I really do. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Some place on Evelyn. Felix's auto place or something. They have a sign out says 44.95 for smog. I'll swing by and chat them up and then give you their contact info.

especially when global warming can't be proven in the first place.

oh christ...

sure -- let's wait until bangladesh is under 10 feet of water before we do anything. let's wait until we have proof.

Last time I spoke to my sister who is living in Bangladesh they were under 10' of water. I dont think this law is so bad. Of course I can say that becuase I have a 74. For all you 75-76 owners, well guess its time for that electric conversion! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

My last test, (July 04) in which the car passed with flying colors was $180.

damn.....I just had the 911 dyno-wheeled smog'd a month ago and it cost $80 out the door.......

the law sucks as a seller of a '76 914, but as a prospective buyer, the car could be a great deal.......

Prices on the new rolling smog tests seem to be coming down. I just had one done on my Jetta and it was $65 out the door. As the new equipment gets paid for I could see prices come down to the $35-45 range.

That's what has happened here in L.A. County. I think we were among the first areas, if not the very first, to require the rolling dyno test.
