I'm not trying to cram the widest possible tires onto the car. With a 1.7L and just driving around town it doesn't seem like it would make a noticible difference. I'd rather sacrifice some rubber than pull the fenders. If 205's will fit, that's fine, but if it's going to rub I'd rather go with a narrower tire.
