Click the link up top, it has the directions. Most of the folks will still be there at 1230. They are holding a picnic after the judging.

See you there!

And I'll even vacuum the car. But the exterior is still pretty clean ... that previous owner, boy he did a great job on this car! It's still pretty spotless! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Come see us SMILE! Pictured, me and Tod at the last concours ...

Was an enjoyable day all around. Nice to be able to put faces to names. Was good to meet you too ILP. Ruddyboys and his sons showed up, and Alex as well. Alex did a super job on installing a new type AC system in his 914. Maybe he can make a tech post on it. Been trying for years to get Dave to bring his 76 2.0. It's a 22K maluga red car. Suppose to be amazing. He's the original owner. Maybe one day. Instead he showed his 2,700 mile SC.

Tod,

Is that David Cheek your talking about. I was a NNJR member from '74 through '83 and David concoured his red '76 2 Liter back then. If he still has it, I'm sure it is still a very special car. If you know him tell him I said hello. I'm sure he would remember me. During that same period I had a concours '73 2 Liter and another one that I did all the NNJR track events in.

Hey Steve,

Yes Dave Cheek. I 'll tell him you said hello. I won't likely see him until next year's events. He said he will bring it to Hershey next year for the Parade. You plan on attending? I remember John Patterak commenting on your car from this past year's event. He said it was the nicest 914 he has ever seen. Sounds like you have a real gem there. I may attend (my parents live nearby) but I will not be entering my 22,000 mile '73 2 Liter. I hope David knows he doesn't have a chance in hell of winning the Preservation Group at Parade. The Preservation Group is really for clean every day driver cars.
