I called John Ficarra at Canepa today. They are closed Saturday because they will be at Pacific Coast Dream Machines in Half Moon Bay. This will likely also impact driving on Skyline, La Honda Rd, and other back roads in the area on Saturday. Here are some options:

1) Go to Canepa Design on Friday. John said we could set something up for Friday, but this would mean doing the Carmel Valley Rd. drive on Saturday.

2) Make a trip to Pacific Coast Dream Machines Saturday - $20 admission for adults. http://www.miramarevents.com/dreammachines/

3) Make a trip to the Military Vehicle Tech Foundation in Portola Valley on Saturday - $20 per person admission. Have to tell them in advance how many to expect. The rich guy who put this collection together died a few years back, so noone knows how long it will stay open. Folks I've talked to who have seen it are really impressed. I'm a Nor. Cal. hippie, so not too keen on military, but tanks and such are still cool. Driving to Portola Valley could also be impacted by traffic going to Half Moon Bay.

So let's get some discussion going on what kind of twisty drives we want to do, what activities along the way, and what days to do them.
