Hi All-
Took my yearly trip to Orange/Newport to visit family last weekend. Took my girl Amy who had never been - did the whole Disney/Rodeo Dr/tourist thing.

She said "yes" on the Huntington Pier as the sun hit the water!!! I am still a bit in shock - I am sooooo lucky (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

Man - it was fricken warm out there!

That's GREAT Scott--

Congrats. You'll have to bring her on a drive sometime so we can meet the lucky lady!

yep POUNDING - you have no idea! Primarily because we had never discussed anything about getting married. I completely surprised her. I designed the ring with the help of 3 of her closest friends - so she had no input on that either.

As they say - no risk, no reward. What a great reward! I am sort of in a haze.

Thanks Brant! We have made no plans on date or anything, but I will bet money we will be living up north - at least as high as Broomfield - so we will be in the neighborhood with you and Ferg.

She wants a light blue Speedster (and replicas are acceptable)!

I am watching for a good deal on a replica kit - preferably not assembled. Someone who wants a striped 914 in trade would be nice!
