Looks like it should be on a showroom floor. Has it been restored or is this still the original paint, etc. If original, it looks like the cleanest one I've seen in many, many years.

funny details ...
- 914-6 shouldn't have the body number stamped on the Karman tag (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
- the colour code should be "16" not "L 16" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

very nice car (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

Also, I thought the hinge bolts were supposed to be body colored. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

Love the Adriatic Blue color, not often seen. You have a beautiful car.

very nice car (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

The car was repainted and someone used the /4 style on the new tag.

Just look at the engine lid and mesh on the side pieces, it's blue underneath and not black, like it should be.
I bet the black goo around the front shock towers is gone too.

You have a beautiful car. And one anyone would be proud to have in their garage, although it would look out of place in mine! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) It fits right in in yours!

What a great looking car! There is not a member here that would not love to own it.

I few small details to do to pass the most critical eyes of our experienced members.

The doorplate you can get on line some time from Germany on Ebay. I did. That will be and easy fix. All the small items are small fixes and it is by the photos perfect.

Congratulations on owning a stable of very nice cars.

What beautiful car & color , you should be very pleased to
own such a fine example of a 914-6. Enjoy driving it and your
other P-cars.

Restored. Sorry if I confused when I said original. I was referring to matching numbers and that it is a genuine 914-6.

I'm so glad I don't specialize in concours cars.

You put pictures up of an astoundingly nice /6 and the members here proceed to make stupid lists of how it's not as bad as it came from the factory.

My favorite: "It doesn't have the black goop around the front struts".

Really? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chair.gif)

It also has a gel battery that might help stop it from rusting in half, but that would be stupid.

Yes, really! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

There's just something about the little things, like the black goo around the shock towers. And i'm not even really a purist.

I'm German, i was born anal retentive. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I can't help it. No matter how small the detail, they matter to me.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) It's probably got that crappy aftermarket air in the tires too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

I'm sure no black goop of any kind is allowed in that garage. At least, that would be my policy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sunglasses.gif)

It's great to hear all the positive comments on my garage. I waited 50 years to finally have the opportunity to build a space that was once only a dream. I am going to attach more photo's of my garage as I know you will appreciate the level of detail that I have put into designing the space.
