He left here on Monday night around 7pm. He called last night around 7pm saying he was leaving Utah heading into Wyoming. He should be home tomorrow.

I talked to Charles earlier...

912 was running well. I think the timing is too high given his symptoms over the phone- running a tad warm and spongy.

He was in Nebraska when I talked to him........

I'm back! Car made the trip with only a few hiccups including a broken speedo cable (my fault, since I took it 100 mph downhill). As I told Brad, only when I got back into town and took the car out with the wife for dinner did the tranny break. I *think* the syncros between first and second went kaput. Oh well. Brad's made very nice offer to rebuild the tranny and bring it back with him before the fun run so that I can take the car down to play with the 914s :-) I'm looking forward to seeing everyone who can come on Sunday!

If these guys only knew what we had in store for that old 912 engine............

Its gonna be much more modern when we are done, thats for sure......

And with a 90mm bore! Nickies style!

I'm on the fence. Wife has family coming in on Sunday from Iowa that she (we) haven't seen in a few years. It all depends on what time they plan on getting here, the later the better if you know what I mean (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Unless you're a big Eagles fan, why would you go to the Bears game instead of Charles' place? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Bears are gonna get humiliated...no wonder your friend gave you the tickets... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool_shades.gif)

I get "Beared" out down here with the team having their training camp at the local christian U every year. Never seen such devoted fans in my life.... I can put the game on in the office if someone really wants to see them get creemed live.

No big deal guys, we'll plan on something for next year, preferably when it's a bit warmer (although it couldn't have turned out nicer!).
