Is there a race type seat which will fit in a 914 without removing the back pad and using the stock seat tracks (with adapters) and stock 3-point belts? I want the extra support for autocross but do not want to install a harness or remove the back pad. I intend to install the seat for events and return to stock seat after. Anyone on the board got one? How about a picture?

I like the Corbeau classic that you have Korijo.  I looked around for used set before I decided to recover my stock seats.

Those aren't mine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I wish. My kid just took a liking to that color car at the 9:14 breakfast.

Paul, is that your seat? My only concern with an aftermarket seat is if my helmet will fit with the top still on. Anyone have any idea's regarding this issue? I could always bolt the Corbeau to the floor, but Id rather not do that if at all possible.....

Thats a pic from the Rennegade site. You could do what JP did, and make a thinner pad for AX.
Remember, I thought it was an extra back support (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I have the touring, and with the 5 pt harness, I'm in there snug. I'm 5'10 190 lbs and its a comfortable ride (even with an AX front suspension).

Ditto on getting rid of the mandatory logo. Like 914 people wouldn't recognize it, how much, and what his daughter's name is....

The thin seat pad works out fairly well.....I don't flop around...much.

What I really need is a dead pedal.
Most of our AXs are short shift into second and leter' eat. I can't seem to left foot brake cause I gots big feets (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) so I'd like to use lefty to help brace my self.
I think T J Snap has one, but I like to see a pic of it ???

I could do what JP did, excpet dont he have the origonal seats? I want a new seat, mine is not too comfy as it is. I might just bite the bullit and just get a seat and bolt it to the floor. Not sure if Corbeau's have an ass pad that you can remove to lower yerself, but even doing that would defeat the purpose of getting a racing seat

The classics and the forza do not have removable cushions...

So, that pretty much means bolting to the floor inorder to run with a helmet and roof. I am about 6'1", and I remove the seat cushon on my stock seat to drive with my helmet and roof.......
