I'm trying to get one of my cars off the the big blue jack stand.
Just about have my first 2.0L rebuild done.
Finished dressing out my new cables from Jeff.
So I pull out the throttle body that I had rebuilt at a small carb shop in MT.
Install the TPS with the new circuit board from Dave.

I can't get the TPS to zero out.
What the hell?
What did I screw up on the circuit board install?

So I tinker for about an hour.
I give up and pull the throttle body off my other 2.0L.
Put it in the vice.
Hook up the meter. Check the adjustment. Perfect.
So I pull that TPS off the other throttle body and put it on the rebuilt throttle body.
Still nothing.
What the hell?
Then I put the rebuilt TPS with the new board on the old throttle body.
Adjusts perfectly.

I did finally get a zero signal on the new throttle body and rebuilt TPS after I swung the TPS from one end to the other.
Lined it up and tighten the screws.
Was afraid to try it twice.

Did the ceramic bushings cause me a ground issue?
Thoughts?

The lowest I was able to get mine was .003, I was told anything under 4 is good. My tsp board is not new.

I received a new board at last years MUSR as a door prize. Installed it in a switch and nothing. Car ran like crap. Just spit and sputter. They seem to be junk in my opinion.

Board worked fine.
I put it on the other 2L throttle body and it measured fine.
It has more to do with the rebuilt throttle body I believe.
Did the shaft bushings create some sort of measurement or grounding issue?
