I just had to go and shoot my mouth off.

I didn't race. Last week I was doing some hard back-road running, and I found that if I kept hard on the throttle beyond a single 2,000rpm-5,700rpm run boost would begin to build up at lower and lower rpm and the injectors would begin saturating at lower and lower rpms until I was going lean at as low as 4,000 rpm.

I had some 1.7 d-jet injectors that flow about 20% more than the Subaru injectors. I tried to use them but one of them sprung a leak. I tried to round up some larger injectors for Saturday but there just wasn't enough time.
