I have a pair of blistens from an '81 911 that I want to install on my 914. I have the 911 a-arms as well, but my 914 arms are in better shape which brings me to my question:
Will 911 ball joints (911-341-049-05-M69), lock plate, nuts etc., play nicely with my 914 a-arms? Thanks in advance for answers. peace, Chuck |

The differences between the 911 a-arms and 914 a-arms are:
1. The torsion bar splines (torsion bars are not interchangeable due to this) 2. The connection for the sway bar is different (at least on all but real early 911s) My advice would be to continue using your 914 a-arms. |

On another note one of my best friends grew up in Evansville and my inlaws live about 50mins away in Madisonville KY. There is a nice little rock climbing gym there, Verticle Escape, we climb at everyother Christmas. Take care, Chuck |
