I am back... I have spent a couple of days working on the my 914 and have come to the conclusion that my knuckle busting days are behind me. Not sure if I want finish it or just put it back together and list it. But what is worth?
All kinds of goodies on the car:
1971 914 1.7 (not in car) 2.0 in car with duel dell' orto carbs
Stainless Steel fuel lines in tunnel
Koni Sport shocks
Updated a arms with tabs for swaybars (no bars installed)
Updated strut housings
new ballpoints
Turbo tie rods
stainless flex brake lines
Fuchs with Yokohama ES100
Momo steering wheel and shift knob
Rennline Aluminum floorboard
Jwest Driving Light flash
Engman fuse panel
Alpine CD player with iPod conection
Morph kickpanel speakers
power amp
city light front turn signal kit
Yellowstar Hella bulb headlights
Optima Battery

Non rusty longs
needs paint and some weatherstripping

Also I am selling all the back stock of parts with the car too.

I will be sad when it is gone, but it is time. The car needs to be driven not sitting in a garage getting dusty.

just needs a supply side fitting on the gas tank and a fuel pump to be driving again. If somebody makes me an offer that is reasonable, they could have the car, the old 1.7 and all of the spares. My knuckles hurt to bad to play guitar. That is demoralizing!

If you'd just learn to walk upright your knuckles would take a lot less abuse. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/monkeydance.gif)

I haven't really priced it out, but if somebody came in with $2500 to $3000 they could have the whole shooting match! That would be car, spares and bits and bobs...
Not sure if that is wishful thinking though. Most likely I will put the car back together (again) & sell it. Then try to sell the parts and scrap the rest.

Dino, you will hate yourself if you sell it. Fix it, drive it and then make a decision. Rich has the parts!
