Anyone know how much clearance there is between the gas tank and the front fire wall?

I want to mount something on that wall but I'm not certain how much distance between the gas tank if any?

thanks

If the pads are still in place when you remove the tank you'll see about 1/4 inch.

At the most. I know of people who pierced their gas-tank by adding metal screws to the firewall.
